Holy (^*&^*^*&!!!! I don't "officially" start the program until Thursday, my wife and I are starting it together and Wednesdays turned out to be the best "rest" day for both of us. Well today I started eating right and decided to try the yoga just for the heck of it. First off, it's and hour and half long. You can take a break at the first 30 minute mark. I was drenched in sweat and shaking. I took ten minutes, rested, drank some water, and started the dvd again. Six minutes into the second phase I quit. I couldn't hold any position. My body just gave out. So I only made 36 of the 90 minutes. I guess that leaves me a goal to shoot for There are three different 90 day programs you can use with this. 1) Classic 2) Lean and 3) doubles. We are going to start with the "Lean" program which is more cardio and abs and less upper body strength. The dude on the intro video recommended you do Lean, then Classic, then Doubles. Doubles has two workouts a day for three days of the week and one workout for the other three days. I don't know if I will live long enough to complete all three of them!!! I took before pictures. I will post them if I actually complete this.......They made me sad Come on, I need more volunteers to be miserable with me!!

Grats on the 12 lbs! Hard work always pays off even more when you are getting good cardio from it.

Klif, I just started the classic program last week! I was very sore all week and weekend, but with the proper diet and the workouts , I have lost ten pounds. My wife starts with me tonight, and looking forward to the workout after class. I WILL FINISH THIS PROGRAM. Keep me updated as i will do the same.

I had a little upper respiratory infection and missed three days but I am back on track. I was 17 pounds down but I am afraid to get on the scale right now. I will wait to the end of the week and see. Of course those three days I didn't work out I ate a bunch of crap. When you feel bad you grasp for anything that will make you feel ok. I also had a little mishap last night. I was using a band for an exercise and it slipped out from under my foot and hit me in the friggin eye! It dropped me to my knees. It still hurts today.... Anyway....yoga tonight!!!

My wife stated her first workout lastnight with me. She did very well for not really being in any kind of athletic condition. Tonight she will experience the pain of Polymetrics...LOL, but i honestly believe that YOGA is the hardest workout of the group. I dread that on Wed.

Hey guys, here is an update. I weighed 176 today! I started P90X at 200. I was actually up to 210 prior to starting and I lost the first 10 pounds dieting and then started the program. So I am 24 pounds down for P90X, 34 pounds total since August.

Well I did it. I maintained around 175 right up to the end. I guess to much holiday food kept me from losing much the last few weeks. 35 pounds lost total, 25 with P90X. I don't have a six pack yet But my waist is a lot smaller. I am wearing pants I haven't worn in years. I took my gunbelt up two notches at work and it's loose again. It wont be long and I can take it up another notch. I will be taking it easy through Christmas and starting round two January 1st. I am expecting to gain back at least five pounds between now and the end of the year. I hope I don't gain any more than that. I will be doing round two a little different. I am actually going to do a more traditional bodybuilding routine with a three day split, but I will continue to do the P90X cardio, Core, Plyometrics, Ab Ripper, and Yoga. I will be doing doubles on my days off, AM and PM. I am also increasing my calorie intake with protein powders and MRPs. My goal is to try and pack on some muscle without much fat gain. Then in April I will start the P90X lean version again. I would like to be about 185 lbs of muscle without the spare tire. Wish me luck..........
