Grapplers and Fans,

We are proud to announce that the 2nd annual ATAMA Open will take place on Saturday, November 7th at The Legends Sports Complex in Houston, TX.

Our first ATAMA Open was a huge success with close to 400 competitors. ATAMA was on hand to give out discount coupons to all division winners that was good for the whole month. Absolute winners all won ATAMA Gi's.

The ATAMA Open 2009 will have a few changes. This years competition will be a GI only event. However, we will still have wonderful prizes from ATAMA like free Gi's. Also, Adults will be $60 for both division and Absolute and kids will be $40.

Team Plaques will be back up for grabs again. These Plaques have been proudly displayed at Gracie Barra for the past year. Who will take it this year???

Registration will be open very soon. I will announce the tournament hotel next week.

New website up soon. www.WorldGrapplingCircuit.com

Mark your calenders for November 7th.

Grapplers,

You can start to register for the ATAMA Open today!!!

The first 10 people that sign up will get a free ATAMA Open tournament t-shirt. The website will be up later but you can go directly to the registration page.

www.lonestartournamentsregistration.com

We will post the rules and all the tournament information on the site before the weekend is up. We will also have video explaining in detail some of the rules. However, these will be standard Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournament rules with no advantage points.

Also remember to use your Zebra Mat code or the code for the person you are supporting. On the registration form there is a Zebra Mat Code. Come up with a 5-7 letter code. The person who gets the most amount of people to sign up using their code will win a free 10 x 10 Home Zebra Mat. Contest ends Midnight on Thursday.

Team Plaques are back up for grabs. The team with the most points will hang this plaque in their school for the whole year. Get your team going!!!

I just wanted to say that everyone looked awesome at the Atama Open. Even the ones that didn't medal looked great and definitely came to fight!

TPC finished 2nd in team standing with probably less than half the competitors of the #1 team.
